Transmission Rebuild
I had to tear down the transmission around 6-7K miles due to a hard engagement/false between 2-3 mostly, but sometimes 1-3.
Removing the slipper, and check tolerances
The SUTER slipper has very precise tolerances. A measurement needs to be taken that establishes the distance from the screw to the diaphgram that moves in/out based on back-torque. This is generally held to a few hundreths of an inch. It will move when the clutch pack wears. When I first installed it, it took a very long time to grasp the theory of operation. It’s been about 100 race miles, so it’s about time to see how it held up.

All is well , and it hadn’t moved by more than 3 thou.
